Headstock will be presenting Laney, Ibanez, Tama and Zildjian products at Music’s Live retail music show in Birmingham and Manchester on the 12th til 13th of Nov. The event promises to be the best place to check out and play test all the latest and best products.

If you are wondering about what happened to ‘Music Live’ this year, well with the demise of the NEC show the music industry has collaborated with PMT and are holding ‘Music’s Live’ at PMT Birmingham and Manchester, a full blown retail music show held at PMT’s two flagship stores, with 40,000 sq ft between them it will be the UK’s biggest music show this year.

Music’s Live will be full of the special offers and show deals that ‘Music Live’ had, it will be attended by the all the worlds top brands, with scores of demonstrators and clinicians. London Drum Show

Representing Tama and Zildjian, Headstock Distribution had a great time at London Drum Show 2011. We would like to extend our thanks to all involved. The stand was the busiest of the show and featured the UK Launch of Zildjian’s revolutionary Gen16 Cymbal System. Lots of UK artists also made appearances on the Headstock stand over the weekend. During the show there were performances from Kenny Aronoff (Chickenfoot) and KJ Sawka (Pendulum). Check out the photos of the event by clicking HERE or the thumbnails below.
Kenny Aronoff UK Clinic Tour

Following his amazing performance at the London Drum Show, Kenny took the the road for three UK Tama/Zildjian Clinics.

Starting in North London (Bell Percussion), then moving to Manchester (Manchester Drum Centre) and Glasgow (Rhythm Base), Kenny wowed crowds with his incredible performances of the many hits that he has contributed to in his carreer. The performances included songs from The Drills, Puddle Of Mudd, The Bombastic Meatbats, Philip Sayce and Chickenfoot. Kenny also performed medley of hits including ‘Jack and Diane’, ‘Born on the Bayou’ and ‘Blaze of Glory’. Kenny closed each performace with an amazing rendition of ‘Straight, no chaser’ from the Buddy Rich Big Band project. Kenny was also extremely informative and gave precious advise to all that asked. It was a pleasure to work with Kenny. Be sure to check out a Chickenfoot show when they hit the UK for two dates in January.

Kings Of Leon Drummer, Nathan Followill, Joins Zildjian Worldwide Family Of Artists

Norwell, MA: Zildjian welcomes Kings of Leon drummer, Nathan Followill, to its worldwide family of artists.   Currently touring on the heels of the release of its new album, Come Around Sundown, Kings of Leon is one of the most successful bands in the world. Originally formed in 1999, the band hails from Tennessee and features Nathan, brothers Caleb and Jared, and their cousin, Matthew. Kings of Leon has enjoyed great success over the course of its career with five album releases on RCA, record digital sales, rankings in the Top 10 in over 10 countries, as well as Grammy Award nominations.
Raised in the South, Nathan and his brothers spent their childhood traveling from one Pentecostal church to the next. Nathan and Caleb moved to Nashville to pursue music careers and Kings of Leon was formed after younger brother Jared and cousin Matthew joined the band in 1999.
In 2002 the band signed with RCA Records and has since released five albums; Youth and Young Manhood (August 2003), Aha Shake Heartbreak (February 2005), Because of the Times (April 2007), Only by the Night (September 2008), and Come around Sundown (October 2010).

“We’re thrilled to welcome Nathan to the Zildjian Family,” commented Sarah Malaney, Artist Relations Manager. “He’s already made an indelible mark on the drumming community and we’re excited he’s playing Zildjian”.
